A note on authenticity. We only sell our courses and files on this website. If you've found "Flat Pack FX" products anywhere else, they're fake, and often carry viruses. Always buy directly from flatpackfx.com. 

This website is operated by Flat Pack FX. The words "we", "us" and "our" refer to Flat Pack FX. We offer this site, including all information, tools and products available from it, on the condition that you accept the terms below.

By using the site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, along with the policies linked from them. They apply to everyone who uses the site: browsers, customers, and contributors alike. Please read them before using the site. If you don't agree with them, don't use the site.

We may update these terms as the business changes. The current version always lives on this page, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Our site and products are hosted on Kajabi, which provides the platform we use to sell to you.

1. Using the site

You must be the age of majority where you live, or have a parent or guardian's consent. Don't use our products for anything illegal, don't break any laws in your jurisdiction (copyright included), and don't upload anything malicious. Breaking these terms ends your access.

2. General conditions

We can refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any lawful reason. You understand your content (excluding payment details) may travel unencrypted across networks; card information is always encrypted. Don't reproduce, copy, resell or exploit any part of our service without our written permission.

3. Accuracy of information

The material on this site is general information and may not always be complete or current. Don't rely on it as your only source for a decision. Any historical information is kept for reference and isn't necessarily current. We can change the site's contents anytime but aren't obliged to update them.

4. Products, prices and availability

Prices can change without notice, and we can modify or discontinue any product at any time. We've done our best to show product colours and images accurately, but we can't guarantee how your screen displays them. We don't warrant that any product will meet every expectation. Any offer made here is void where prohibited.

5. Digital products and licence

This section covers our digital downloads, including The Source Files project files and any course assets you download.

What you can do. Open, modify and use the files in your own work. What that use covers depends on the tier you bought:

• Personal licence (The Source Files: Essentials, and course-included files unless stated otherwise): for learning, practice and personal projects.
• Personal and commercial licence (The Source Files: Complete): everything the personal licence allows, plus use in paid client work and monetised projects.

What you can't do, on any tier. You can't resell, redistribute, share or give away the files themselves, upload them for download elsewhere, or claim them as your own work. The files stay the property of Flat Pack FX and are licensed to you, not sold to you.

Bundled images. Any images included directly in a download are public domain under the Creative Commons CC0 licence (creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0), so no one owns them. This applies only to images supplied inside the download, not to any third-party or royalty-free files you're directed to download separately.

Third-party footage. Some projects reference copyrighted footage we can't include. Where that happens, we point you to the original source to download it under that provider's own terms. Those files are governed by the third party's licence, not ours.

Instant delivery, no refunds. Digital downloads are delivered instantly and can't be returned once you have them, so they're sold without refunds. Instead, we offer a free sample file so you can see exactly what you're getting before you buy. See our Refund Policy for the full position.

Lifetime access. Where a product is described as lifetime access, that means access for as long as Flat Pack FX operates the product. It doesn't create an obligation to keep any specific platform, feature or file available indefinitely.

6. Billing and account information

We can refuse or cancel any order, and may limit quantities per person, household or payment method. If we change or cancel an order, we'll try to reach you at the contact details you provided. Keep your account and payment information current so we can complete your purchases and reach you when needed.

7. Optional third-party tools

We may give you access to third-party tools we don't control or monitor. They're provided "as is", without warranties, and using them is at your own risk. Check the relevant provider's terms before relying on them.

8. Third-party links

Some content or links may lead to third-party sites we're not affiliated with. We're not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and we're not liable for anything you buy or do there. Review their policies before engaging, and direct any complaints about their products to them.

9. Comments and submissions

If you send us ideas, suggestions or other submissions, you agree we can use them in any medium without restriction, compensation or obligation to keep them confidential. We may (but don't have to) remove content we consider unlawful or objectionable. Your submissions must not break any third party's rights, contain anything unlawful or malicious, or misrepresent who you are. You're responsible for what you submit, and we assume no liability for it.

10. Personal information

Your submission of personal information through the site is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Errors and omissions

The site may occasionally contain typos, inaccuracies or omissions relating to descriptions, pricing or availability. We can correct these and change or cancel orders if any information was inaccurate, even after you've ordered, without prior notice. We're not obliged to update information except as required by law.

12. Prohibited uses

You may not use the site or its content: for any unlawful purpose; to solicit unlawful acts; to break any laws or regulations; to infringe our or others' intellectual property; to harass, abuse or discriminate against anyone; to submit false information; to upload malicious code; to collect others' personal information; to spam or scrape; for any obscene purpose; or to interfere with the site's security. We can end your access for any of these.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that results from it will be accurate. We may remove or cancel the service at any time without notice. Your use of the service is at your own risk, and it's provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flat Pack FX and its people won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits, revenue, savings or data, arising from your use of the service or any product. Where a jurisdiction doesn't allow these exclusions, our liability is limited to the maximum the law permits.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flat Pack FX and its people from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of a third party's rights.

15. Severability

If any provision here is found unlawful or unenforceable, it's severed from the rest, and the remaining provisions stay in force.

16. Termination

Obligations incurred before termination survive it. These terms apply until either you or we end them. You can end them by ceasing to use the site. If we believe you've breached them, we can end them without notice, and you'll remain liable for anything owed up to that point.

17. Entire agreement

Our failure to enforce any provision isn't a waiver of it. These terms, plus any policies posted on the site, are the entire agreement between us and supersede any earlier agreements, including prior versions of these terms.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.

19. Changes to these terms

The current version always lives on this page. We can update it at our discretion, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
